Breeding Group Overview

The portal is setup to create breeding groups in a number of different ways.

  1. Natural Service breeding groups - These are created when you move breeding aged cattle into and out of breeding pastures that contain both male and female cattle.
    1. Single Sire Breeding Groups - a single sire breeding group is when there is a single sire involved in the breeding.
    2. Multi Sire Breeding Groups - a multi sire breeding group is created when you have more than one breeding aged bull exposed to breeding aged females.
  2. Manual Breeding Groups - These occur when you add breeding details from the Breeding form on the + Menu.
  3. Artificial Insemination (AI) Breeding Groups - These are created when you transfer semen from a bull to a breeding aged cow.
  4. Embryo Transfer (ET) Breeding Groups - These are created when you transfer embryos into a recipient cow.
