Introduction To The Menus


  1. Quick Icon Customization - The three dots below the Quick Icon menu opens up to allow you to customize the icons that you see and the order you see them. 
  2. Quick Icon Menu - Click on the icons in the menu to get to those sections.
  3. Mega Menu - This is how you navigate to the different sections of the portal. You will use this menu for any sections you don't have in the Quick Icon Menu.
  4. Calendar - This icon takes you quickly to the calendar section.
  5. Search - Search defaults to your active inventory. You can click the down arrow to search your Contacts or Legacy Animals. You should search using the primary ID of the animal. 
  6. + Menu - This is how you access the forms to add data into the portal.
    1. The lefthand side is how you add inventory and non-animal specific items to the portal.
    2. The righthand side is how you add items to specific animals.
  7. Settings Menu - You click here to access the portal settings, herd settings and imports.
  8. Dashboard Customization - You click here to customize what you see on the dashboard.

A. Quick Icon Customization 

  1. Drag and drop the icons you wish to see from the left to the right of this menu. You can also reorder what you see by moving it around. Click Save Menu when you are happy with the changes.

C. Mega Menu


  1. Use this menu to access all of the sections in the portal. 

E. Search



  1. Use the expanded search section to search for Contacts and Legacy Animals. 

F. + Menu



  1. To CowCalf - This will show you all of the forms to add inventory or items to the portal not related to a specific animal. 
  2. To Animal - These forms will add items to specific animal records. 

G. Settings Menu



  1. Our intent is for this form to be used when you initially set up the portal but you shouldn't need to reference it often.
