Transfer Frozen Embryos

Transfer Via the Breeding Form

Select Breeding from the + Menu

Select Embryo Transfer from the Breeding Type dropdown and fill out the remaining relevant information. You need to have the embryo in your inventory to transfer this way. Read this article to learn how to add embryos.



Transfer From The Embryo Section

Go to the Embryo section and click on the Frozen tab. To simplify the list, you can type the dam or sire primary ID into the search box above the table.



Here you can fill in all of the information for the Recipient. Click Transfer Embryo when finished. 



Transfer From the Donor Dam Page


Search for the animal and get to her animal record. Once there, click on the Embryo Inventory tab.


Click the action menu on the far right of the embryo row and select Transfer Embryos. 



Here you can fill in all of the information for the Recipient. Click Transfer Embryo when finished. 



Transfer Multiple Embryos from the Bulk Add Form

Narrow down the group you wish to transfer embryos to. You can do this by viewing a pasture, a group or by individually selecting animals from the My Herd table. 


Once selected, click the Bulk Actions menu and click Transfer Embryos. 


Note that all Bulk Action menus are the same. This can be found in My Herd, Pastures and Groups sections. 



Fill out all of the relevant information and click Transfer Embryos when finished.
