Learning How To Use The Tables

All of the tables in CowCalf have similar features. Below you will find an overview of how to customize the tables and the different options we offer.

NOTE: If you would like to add an item to the sort, filter or bulk out, submit a ticket to let us know. 

1. Bulk Action Menu - You can apply specific items to all of the selected items in a table. 
   
2. Show Entries - You use this to adjust the number of rows showing on each page of the table.
   
3. Select All - select all or deselect all animals by clicking here.
   
4. Select Single - select one or a few animals. Note: if you are using the table search to find animals, the ones you select will stay selected. This is useful if you plan to use "Bulk Actions" on multiple items. 
   
5. Table Search - Use this search to narrow down the columns in the table or to find a single item (animal, person, etc.).
   
1. You can search for an animal/item, select it, and then search for another animal/item and select it to have multiple items selected. If you wish to apply Bulk Add to multiple selected items, make sure to clear the search box so all of the selected items will have that action applied to them.
6. Eye Icon - Use the menu here to edit the columns in your table. You can hide or show any items listed there. Don't worry, you can change this around as often as you'd like. 
   
7. Filter Icon - Use this menu to filter the data in your table. 
   
8. Export options - select the one you wish to use. 
   
9. Action Menu - Here you will see your options for each column. This will be things like editing that row, deleting it, etc.
   
10. Sort - Click here to sort the tables in ascending or descending order of that specific column.
    
11. Order - columns can be dragged around to reorder them across the table. Drag and drop to reorder.
