Changing The Status Or Culling An Animal

Change the status when viewing an animal.

You can change the status of a single animal by searching for it in the search box and then editing the animals. You can edit an animal by clicking here. 



Scroll towards the bottom of the animal page and change the status.
Note: Your fields may be in a different spot depending on how your form settings are set up. More information about that here. 

 
Status definitions are as follows. 
  1. Active - these are animals in your herd inventory. Active animals are the ONLY animals that will show up in your pastures.
  2. Reference - these are animals that aren't in your herd but you may breed out of them. Example and AI Sire you don't own or a Donor cow you don't own
  3. Culled - these are animal you have removed from your inventory.
  4. Sold - these are animals you've sold.
  5. Dead - these are animal that have died. 

Bulk Change Status or Change Status From My Herd

Action Menu - Editing An Animal

If you click on the action menu and then Edit. Follow the same steps mentioned above once you open the form.


Bulk Add Form

Select at least one animal.

Select Change Status



Fill out the relevant form fields and select Change Status.
